<a href="#comment-208" rel="nofollow">@Rabbit</a>,

First of all, thank you.

And yeah, I really wanted to try the NuvaRing but when I saw that vaginal infections were included in the side effects I was scared out of it. My history of UTIs has given me a phobia of anything coming near my vagina (aside from the usual, you know) so I just erred on the side of caution and stuck with the pills.

Oh and the Copper IUD is definitely on my wish list.

Great post, I love your voice. I know you've already chosen Ortho Lo, which I was on for 4 years, but I have the same thing with BC: I'm kinda creeped out by the even flow of ultra hormones in my bod. Don't get me wrong I have been on birth control for 8 years now (damn either I was a super slutty 16 yr old or am just getting old) and I like that it makes the periods lighter but still... it's kinda weird. ANYWAY, I have been on the nuvaring for the past few years and aside from it's tendencies to make me sip apple-tinis in a nightclub chatting with my girlfriends in medical detail about it's side effects, I absolutely love it. It's an excellent form of BC with very little side effects. But due to cost I am thinking of getting on the Copper IUD in the next few months which has no hormones in it, so may be the most natural feel. Anyway keep up the good work :)
